Welfare Team Member

Role Details

Welfare volunteers will identify and support our more vulnerable Friends. You will have more time to sit and talk with Friends to ensure they are aware of and accessing services as needed, accompanying them where necessary. You will receive training and guidance to fulfil the role while reporting to the team leader. You will be supported by a wider service team, but the welfare team’s sole focus will be supporting our Friends.

Qualities and skills required:

• Experience working with vulnerable adults is helpful but not essential 
• Good interpersonal skills 
• Ability to manage expectations 
• Patient and understanding 
• Reliable 
• Flexible
