Tuesday Prep Team Leader

We are looking for a new Team Leader to join our Tuesday Prep team. The role involves supporting a small team by preparing and cooking the evening service meal. The Tuesday Prep team operate between 11am until 4pm each week.

As well as excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, candidates with experience of  cooking in bulk would be advantageous. Team Leaders will also be required to obtain their Level 2 Kitchen Hygiene.

The People’s Kitchen runs entirely on volunteers, so to ensure we’re electing the right volunteer for this role, the onboarding process will include an informal interview. The successful candidate will then join the team and shadow a current team leader for a short period, before transitioning into the role permanently.

Candidates with other relevant skills and experience, particularly in leading teams, are also very welcome to apply, as we are seeking to create a diverse board.
